What it is
Krea 2 Large "generates high-fidelity images from text, supporting aspect ratio, creativity, seed controls, and optional style references". The two settings worth knowing about are creativity and seed, because between them they solve opposite problems.
Creativity decides how far it may wander from your words. Seed decides whether you can get the same result twice. Together they cover the two things people most often want from an image model and rarely get: variation on demand, and repeatability when it matters.
It also takes an optional style reference image, which costs slightly more per generation and is worth it when a look has to match something you already have.
What it is good at
The creativity control decides how closely it follows your words. Turn it down for a brief, turn it up when you want to be surprised.
Seed control, so a result you liked can be reproduced instead of chased. Rarer than it should be.
An optional style reference image, so a new picture can inherit the treatment of an old one.
Where it struggles
- Krea publishes no list of limitations, so none is invented here.
- A style reference costs slightly more per image than a plain generation. Small, but it is a different rate, and the Studio shows both.
- The Medium tier is roughly half the price of Large for the same look. Start there while you are still deciding.
How to prompt it
Write it cinematically and let the creativity setting do the rest. This model handles detailed compositional and lighting language well, so a prompt that reads like a shot description works. If the result drifts, lower the creativity rather than lengthening the prompt.
