Two modes
Wan 2.2 Animate does two things. Replace puts your character into a clip you already have: the room, the camera and the moves stay, the person becomes your character. Move gives your character the movement from the clip, in its own picture.
There is no prompt
You bring two things: a clip where the person is fully in frame and moves clearly, and an image of the character standing, from head to toe. The model does the rest.
It costs little per try, which makes it the model to experiment with before you pick a final take.
Where it falls short
It holds a face and an outfit, but unusual proportions can soften: in our own test a very long neck came out shorter. For a character with an extreme shape, Recast held it better. Results go up to 720p; upscale the clip after if you need it sharper.
Only clips you filmed yourself or have the rights to, and faces of people who agreed to it.
