What it is

Recraft V3 is a "text-to-image model with the ability to generate long texts, vector art, images in brand style, and much more". It is the only model in this studio that produces real vector output , scalable graphics for logos and design work, rather than a picture of a logo.

The second thing it does that nothing else here does: brand colours as a parameter. You pass the palette rather than describing it, which is the difference between "close to our blue" and our blue.

It offers three style presets , realistic image, digital illustration and vector illustration , and it is built for visual coherence across a set of generations rather than one good result.

What it is good at

Actual vectors

Scalable vector graphics through the vector illustration preset. A logo that stays sharp at any size, not a raster approximation of one.

Your brand colours, exactly

Colours are a parameter, not a description. That is the difference between close enough and correct.

Long text, rendered clearly

Its documentation claims long, accurate text within images with unprecedented clarity. Useful when a graphic carries a paragraph, not a word.

A set that looks like a set

Built to maintain visual coherence across multiple generations, which is what a campaign needs and a single hero image does not test.

Where it struggles

  • Recraft publishes no list of limitations, so none is invented here.
  • Vector styles cost roughly double the standard rate. That is a provider price, passed through, and it is on the button.
  • Text placement works best when you say exactly where it goes. Left to itself, it composes reasonably but not to a grid.

How to prompt it

Name the style preset you want the result to live in, then describe the object rather than the scene. For vector work, think in shapes and counts: how many elements, what geometry, what weight. Give the exact wording for any text, and pass the brand colours rather than naming them.

An example that shows what that means

A flat vector logo mark for a hiking brand: a single continuous line forming a mountain ridge that becomes a bird in flight at the right edge, two colours only, generous negative space, no gradients, no outline, centred on white.

What we offer here

Straight from the catalogue, so this list never goes stale. The price is the provider’s published rate with our markup on top, and it is on the button before you run anything.

Questions

Does it really make vectors?

Yes, through the vector illustration style , scalable graphics rather than a raster image of a logo. It is the only model here that does.

Can I lock my brand colours?

Yes, colours are passed as a parameter rather than described in words, which is the only way to get them exactly right.

Why does vector cost more?

The provider charges roughly double for vector styles. We pass their published rate through with our markup, and the amount is shown before you run.
