Where each falls short

Ideogram

  • Ideogram publishes no list of limitations, so there is none here.
  • The default tier is medium. If a result is close but not quite there, moving to high is the first thing to try, not a longer prompt. High costs several times medium, and the Studio shows it.
  • Masked edits are not offered in the Studio yet. Describe the change in words instead.

GPT Image 2.5

  • Dimensions must be multiples of 16 on both edges, and total pixels have to land between 655,360 and 8,294,400. The Studio only offers sizes that satisfy that, so you will not run into it, but it is why the size list is what it is.
  • The quality setting changes both the reasoning depth and the price, and the difference is not small. It is worth choosing deliberately rather than leaving it.
  • The two highest quality settings are not offered in the Studio yet: the provider publishes no price for them.

Yes, readable type is what it is built for. For a vector file, start from its result and trace it, since it outputs a raster image.
